E71 - Charlene Lam - curator, grief coach, TEDx speaker, and the author of Curating Grief: A Creative Guide to Choosing What to Keep After a Loved One Dies.

Charlene Lam is a curator, grief coach, TEDx speaker, and the author of Curating Grief: A Creative Guide to Choosing What to Keep After a Loved One Dies. After her mother died suddenly in 2013, she leaned into her creativity and instincts as a curator to navigate her grief, an experience that became the foundation of her Curating Grief® philosophy and body of work. Through her platform The Grief Gallery®, she presents exhibitions featuring the belongings of loved ones lost, with installations in London, New York City, and Los Angeles. As a grief coach, she guides people through her signature 10 Object Method™, a creative process that helps them engage with their memories and make space for what truly matters. A proud Chinese-American New Yorker like her mom, Charlene is now based in Lisbon, Portugal and works with clients worldwide.

About the Podcast

Heroes in Grief
Inspiring people who have done purposeful things with their grief.
I am a bereaved father, a bereaved son, a bereaved brother & a bereaved friend. Listening to other people's stories of how they cope with their death losses has almost always given me useful tools to use in my journey.
The purpose of Heroes in Grief is the same. It is my sincere hope that hearing the remarkable things that grieving people have done to honor their loved ones, or maybe just to cope will encourage you as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
