Sibal, MA, FMCHC is a functional medicine certified health coach, grief coach, author and mindset expert from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She helps people at midlife transform losses into lifelong gains.

As the founder of the Seniors Grief Circle, a tribute project to her late father, Karen connects people on their grief journey with practical resources and compassionate help, offering advice through her podcast and website on topics related to personal finances, legal matters, relationship issues and self-care.

The Seniors Grief Circle website is a membership-based platform that offers practical information related to legal and financial matters, e-books, self-paced courses, webinars, book recommendations and much more.

Having lost 6 family members since 2020, Karen is offering a unique type of grief support to people struggling with their loss – it’s a special blend of practical advice and caring, compassionate help that she wished she had access to when her loved ones passed away.

The Seniors Grief Circle will be launched in September 2024, with the first podcast episode scheduled to be released next month. The Seniors Grief Circle podcast will offer “real talk that soothes the soul” – practical conversations that anyone at midlife who is in the depths of their grief can find solace from.

I am a bereaved father, a bereaved son, a bereaved brother & a bereaved friend. Listening to other people's stories of how they cope with their death losses has almost always given me useful tools to use in my journey.
The purpose of Heroes in Grief is the same. It is my sincere hope that hearing the remarkable things that grieving people have done to honor their loved ones, or maybe just to cope will encourage you as well.
